AL brings out Nababarsha procession

The ruling Awami League brought out a procession in the city marking the Bangla Nababarsha 1430 with a call to bridge new life with the spirit of non-communalism.
Dhaka South City unit of AL arranged the procession on Friday beginning from Bahadur Shah Park in Old Dhaka at about 7.45 am and it ended at Bangabandhu Avenue after parading different city streets.
AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader spoke at a brief meeting before the procession.
AL presidium member Dr Abdur Razzaue and Adv Quamrul Islam, joint general secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua and acting president of Dhaka South City AL Nurul Amin Ruhul and its general secretary Humayun Kabir, among others, were present.
