Pran’s dairy hub fines in Bhangura

Mobile court fined Tk 50,000 for the crime of mixing harmful substances in milk at a dairy hub in Bhavanipur village of Bhangura upazila on Wednesday.
While conducting an operation at the agent branch of Pran’s milk cooling center, traces of harmful substances were found in the milk. Upazila Sanitary Inspector Md. Nurul Islam admitted that the milk supplied from that hub had evidence of sugar, salt, and caustic soda mixture. The operation was conducted by Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Nahid Hasan Khan. Bhangura police station SI Md. Anwar Hossain assisted him. SI Anwar Hossain said 19 sacks of sugar and one sack of caustic soda were recovered from that hub during the operation.
