‘Country to move forward under Sheikh Hasina’s leadership’

City Desk :
Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim on Wednesday said the country should be moved forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to make the country as smart and developed Bangladesh by 2041.
“Being imbued with Bangabandhu’s Sonar Bangla vision, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to make digital and smart Bangladesh by keeping pace with the developed countries,” he said.
He said these while distributing foods among destitute people at a programme organised by Demra Thana Awami League at Demra, outskirts of the capital, reports BSS.
Bahauddin Nasim said, “Bangabandhu taught us how to love the people, hence AL leaders and activists are wholeheartedly working for the countrymen’s wellbeing.”
He said the BNP-Jamaat is hatching a conspiracy against the country and groveling to foreigners as they want to pull back the nation.
“The countrymen will resist BNP-Jamaat’s conspiracy,” he expressed hope, adding, “We want participation of all political parties in the upcoming general election.”
Dhaka South City Unit Swechchhasebak League President Qamrul Hassan Ripon, former President of Demra Thana Chhatra League Kaushik Ahmed Jasim and councilor of Ward-68 Mahmudul Hasan Polin, among others, were present.
