Heat weave hits life in Ishwardi

Public life has become unbearable due to the intense hear wave in Ishwardi Upazila.
In the scorching month of Chaitra, the day air is burning like a desert region. Chaitra’s pure sun and intense heat during the day. The weather conditions have been like this for the past few days in most of the surrounding areas including Ishwardi. A gentle heat wave is blowing over Ishwardi. The season’s highest temperature of 37.6 degrees was reported at 3 pm on Saturday (April 8).
No rain. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the widening of the gap between the maximum and minimum temperatures, there is a contrast in the weather, which is felt hot during the day and cold at night. The temperature on Friday (April 7) was 37.2 degrees. Nazmul Haque, station meteorologist of Ishwardi Meteorological Office, said that a mild heatwave has been blowing over Ishwardi for the past few days. The minimum temperature fluctuates between 19.5 degrees and maximum 37.6 degrees.
In the meantime, there was no electricity in the city for two periods after Saturday afternoon. Electricity Department says, thay don’t have load shedding here, power was off from Dhaka to Central.
With the adverse weather conditions, the residents of Ishwardi are living a miserable life due to power outages.
