Two drug-traders held with 20 kgs ganja

Police arrested two drug traders from a passenger bus at Netrakona inter-district bus terminal here recently and recovered twenty kilograms of ganja from their possession.
Police sources here said, the arrested drug-traders were identified as Kahinoor Alam, 24, son of Alauddin of village Horipur under Sunamganj district and Rafijul Mia,18, son of Koddus Mia of village Monduri under Hobiganj district.
Acting on a tip off, a police team of Netrakona model police station led by officer-in-charge (OC)of the police station Khandaker Shaker Ahmed cordoned off a passenger bus namely Shahjalal paribahan at the bus terminal and captured them with the contraband -item, the sources said.
Meanwhile, police filed a case with the Netrakona model police station against the arrested persons under the narcotics control act, the OC Khandaker Shaker Ahmed added.
