Let the people survive during Ramzan

Common people in our country are facing a major problem as a result of the rise in the price of daily commodities. Due to the increase in the prices, as the misery of the common man has increased, the purchasing power has also decreased. Meanwhile, the prices of rice, pulses, oil, vegetables, fish, and meat are increasing gradually, so middle-class and low-class people are struggling to meet their income and expenses. It is now a big challenge for them to survive with their families in this high-priced market. In such a situation, Ramzan has led to an increase in the prices of goods, leading to panic among the common people and they have to suffer a desperate situation. In order to save the common people, it is now necessary to take measures to rein in the businessmen who capitalized on the month of Ramzan.
Ramzan is a time of spiritual reflection and self-improvement for Muslims around the world. But in this time, dishonest businessmen have abandoned their humanity and created an artificial shortage of daily necessities and increased the prices of goods. Every year the administration fails to control the prices of goods during the month of Ramzan despite the pre-preparedness. In order not to fall victim to such a situation again, the administration’s strict surveillance should be increased by using the experience of the past days. It is important for the administrations to keep an eye on markets at the city and village levels more strictly so that unscrupulous businessmen do not steal excessive profits by endangering the common people. As well as, in order to prevent the high-price market during Ramzan from becoming uncontrolled, the responsible areas of the state and society must intervene.

Ensure road safety

The dream of Padma Bridge has come true. Now communication is much easier for southern part of Bangladesh with its capital Dhaka. It now takes only 3 hours from Barishal to Dhaka by bus.
As communication is now easy by bus, pressure on highway has been increased. But road from Vanga to Kuakata is inadequately wide. Express way of 6 lanes road from Dhaka to Vanga has been completed but road from Vanga to Kuakata remains as usual like previous. So, this issue should be taken in consideration and the authority should take the necessary steps to prevent road accident.
