Farewell of DC held in Kulaura

The outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Moulvibazar, Mir Nahid Ahsan, was given a farewell reception in Kulaura at the Upazila Parishad Meeting Room by the initiative of the Upazila Parishad and the Upazila administratio on Monday.
Chairman of Kulaura Upazila Parishad and Senior Vice President of Upazila Awami League Principal AKM Shafi Ahmed Solman presided over the reception and under the supervision of Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Shimul Ali, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mir Nahid Ahsan spoke as the chief guest. He got emotional in his speech and said, “I did not do anything wrong during my duty in Moulvibazar district. People of all classesI got your love because I worked together with cooperation – which will be remembered in my later life. He urged everyone to work unitedly to move the country forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mahmudur Rahman Khondkar gave a welcome speech on the occasion.
At the beginning of the program, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Mehedi Hasan showed a video on the development activities of the outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC).

In the meeting, the speakers emphasized on the contribution of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mir Nahid Ahsan in the overall and visible development of Moulvibazar during his tenure of almost three years.
At the end of the meeting, the Upazila Parishad and the Upazila administration presented the crest to the outgoing Deputy Commissioner. Apart from this, on behalf of Kulaura.com, the popular online media, S.R. Oni Chowdhury and Sub-Editor Salauddin gave a crest to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mir Nahid Ahsan on behalf of the media. Officials of various departments of the upazila, UP chairman, teachers, journalists and local leaders were present in the event.
