One injured in Kurigram mortar shell blast

Kurigram Correspondent :
An abandoned mortar shell was found in back side of Saha filling station under Dewaner Khamar union of Bhurungamari upazila and took away home which blasted and injured and burnt leg of an electric mason on Tuesday.
The injured is Babu Miah 40 son of late Badsha Miah a mason, locals said. He was immediately taken to Bhurungamari upazila Health complex but when his condition was deteriorated was shifted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
Local sources said Babu’s maternal uncle Abdul Gafur used to work as earth cutter. He was cutting earth of a pond near the house of Aziz commander.
