ZEISS inaugurates Labs@Location at BUET

ZEISS, an internationally leading technology company, inaugurated the state-of-the-art Labs@Location, a community of ZEISS customers providing in-depth knowledge on research microscopy solutions, in the Bio-Medication Engineering (BME) Department of BUET.
They inaugurated the lab on Tuesday after holding a press conference on ‘Biomedical Engineers for Quality and Sustainable Healthcare in Bangladesh’ at the BME department of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
 The teachers of BUET expressed their concentration to work together with the government with the aim to ensure quality and sustainable healthcare in the country at the conference.
 Teachers said that although the government has taken several initiatives for the development of the health sector in the country, there are still a plethora of challenges ahead. They urged the government to work together for the development of the sector.
Presiding over the programme, BUET Pro-VC Prof Abdul Jabbar Khan stressed the need for signing a MoU between the Health Ministry and the BUET to address the difficulties in the health sectors and we need to work with the government in this regard.
