NSTU student found hanging on dormitory roof

A student of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) was found hanging from the roof of a residential hall.
The deceased has been identified as Aprosi Marma, (21), a student of the 14th batch, Sociology Department of the university. He hailed from Khagrachari district.
In this regard, most of the residential students claimed that Aprosi Marma committed suicide.
On Monday midnight, students found Aprosi in a hanging condition from the roof of Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Malek Ukil Hall. Later, they informed the matter to the university administration.
NSTU assistant proctor Iqbal Hossain Sumon said, “Being informed, we along with our proctorial team visited the spot and found Aprosi in a hanging condition from the roof of the residential hall. Police later recovered the body.”
The body was taken to 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital for post-mortem, he added.
