Rain with squally wind likely in parts of country

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places over the country, a met office press release said on Friday.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the met forecast for the next 24 hours commencing 9am yesterday.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius at Rangamati and Teknaf while the minimum temperature on Friday was recorded 17.7 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
