Bangladesh-England third T20I today

After winning the Twenty20 International (T20I) series 2-0, spirited Bangladesh will take on England in the third T20I match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur today. The last T20I match will start at 3.00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Private satellite sports channel T Sports, private satellite channel GTV will telecast the match live from the venue. Bangladesh’s eye are now to whitewash the world champions England, while the tourists want to avoid clean sweep.
Before today’s game, Bangladesh and England faced each other in three occasions. Of them, Bangladesh registered two victories, while England won only one match.
Bangladesh defeated England by six wickets in the first T20I at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on March 9.
The Tigers beat the Lions by four wickets in the second T20I at the SBNCS on March 12.
Veteran cricketer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, ” After defeating Australia and New Zealand, Bangladesh defeated England and already clinched the T20I series. Najuml Hossain Shanto is a man of beauty and Mehidy Hasan Miraz is an extra-ordinary bowler. Hats off to Bangladesh T20I team.”
The change of the wind of Bangladesh Cricket has been started for a month. Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim bade good-bye to the shortest format of the international cricket. Mahmudullah Riyad has been rested for unknown time.
Promising Rony Talukdar, Towhid Hridoy have been included in the squad after showing a satisfactory performance in the outgoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket. Rony Talukdar, Towhid Hridoy showed a respectable performance in the recently concluded BPL Cricket, which is the franchise-based T20 Tournament of the country.
Mashrafe highly praised the understanding between Chandika Hathurusingha and Shakib Al Hasan. He said, ” Hathurusingha and Shakib Al Hasan have formed a superb T20I team.”
