International recognition of 1971 genocide demanded

Sector Commanders Forum of Liberation War 71 started a month-long programme in Barishal demanding international recognition of Bengali genocide by Pakistani forces and their henchmen Razakar, Albadar during the Great War of Liberation in 1971.
The program was inaugurated at Barishal Slaughterhouse on Saturday (March 4) night. At this time, this demand was expressed through tributes, discussion meetings and candle lighting.
Barishal City Corporation Mayor Serniabad Sadiq Abdullah was the chief guest, Central President of Sector Commanders Forum of Liberation War 71 Journalist former IGP Nurul Alam presided over and Sector Commanders Forum- Liberation War 71 Central Secretary General Harun Habib, was Chief Speaker of the event.
Chief guest Serniabad Sadiq Abdullah said that it is our responsibility to convey the sensation and history of the liberation war to the next generation. If history is not conveyed to them, they will not know about the real history of liberation war. We will stand by the demand for international recognition of the genocide during the liberation war of Bangladesh.
Barishal Metropolitan Police Commissioner Saiful Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Barishal University Sadekul Arefin, researcher and cultural figure Hamidur Rahman, Shafiur Rahman Jamal son of Shaheed Mujibur Rahman Kanchan on behalf of the genocide victim family also addressed in the programme.
