Abducted school girl recovered from Madaripur

A schoolgirl (17) kidnapped from Gournadi of Barishal was rescued from Madaripur and the abductor Gobind Barai (17) was arrested by the police on Saturday.
Investigation officer of the case and Sub Inspector of Gournadi police station Abdul Haque Shikdar said Gobindo Baroi (17), a tractor driver and son of Ajit Baroi of Paschim Boysa village of Khanjapur Union of the upazila, used to disturb the 10th grader girl (17) with love offers on the way to and from school. On the morning of January 18, the girl left her home to go to school. When the schoolgirl reached near the school around 9:30 in the morning, 6/7 youths led by Govindo Baroi blocked the way of the schoolgirl.
Then the school girl was forcibly picked up in a three-wheeler and kidnapped her.
In this regard, the abductee’s mother filed a case of kidnapping with Gourandi police station on February 10, accusing 6 people including Govind Baro after several attempts to recover her failedi. Based on secret information, police raided a rented house in Madaripur city with the help of Madaripur Sadar Thana Police and rescuing.
