2 unidentified floating bodies recovered in Bagerhat

On information a contingent of the River Police recovered an unidentified floating dead body of man (40) from the river Pashur, adjacent to the village Romjaipur under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district on Wednesday noon, according to a report received here. The dead body was worn with a black pant and a blackish under-garment for the upper portion.
Md. Shams-Uddin, Officer-in-charge of Rampal PS confirmed the matter and told, after preparing a spot investigation report of the dead body it was sent to Bagerhat Sadar Hospial for autopsy. The Police Officer added, police are trying their best to identify the dead body and to know the reasons behind the death.
 Another report states that an unidentified floating dead body of a woman (40) whose neck was twisted with a rope was recovered by the River Police from an outlet on the western side of the river Pashur (of Mongla Port) near at Dhangmari Forest Range under the Eastern Division of Sundarbans (in Bagerhat district) on Tuesday afternoon. Police guessed, perhaps, the dead body was belonging to Hindu community.
Md. Bazlur Rashid, Officer-in-charge of Tildanga River Police outpost under Dakop Upazila told, on information a police squad of the River police outpost rushed to the spot at about 5 pm and recovered the dead body from there. Later the dead body was sent to Mongla PS at the following night. It was sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital in Wednesday morning for autopsy. It was confirmed by Thakur Das, 2nd Officer of Mongla PS.
