Ruhani Labonno presents ‘Tarana’ after Shibli-Nipa

Famous dance duo Shibli Mohammad and Shamim Ara Nipa have been presenting BTV’s popular dance show titled ‘Tarana’ for the past four years. Now they are no longer presenting the show.
Now this programme is presented by architect Rouhani Labonno. Shibli and Nipa are now performing as judges for the show.
Kabirul Islam Ratan has already participated as a guest judge in an episode of ‘Tarana.’
While talking about presenting the programme, Ruhani Labonno told this correspondent, “Respected Kabirul Islam Ratan Sir participated as a guest judge in an episode of ‘Tarana.’ I learned dancing from him. I personally liked his participation in ‘Tarana.’ And Shibli Bhai and Nipa Apa used to present the show earlier. Now they are working as judges. I have replaced them. Since I have been involved in dance, I love presenting the show ‘Tarana.’ It is a very popular show of BTV. Even after presenting it, I got a lot of response. My sincere gratitude to BTV authorities for keeping me associated with such a wonderful show.”
In the meantime, Ruhani Labonno has already presented in three consecutive corporate shows in Cox’s Bazar recently. She took her son Shirsho there.
Labonnno mentioned that she presented BTV’s ‘Sur Sagor,’ NTV’s ‘Rupakotha Raat’ and RTV’s ‘Krishi Padak’ on the same day.
It is said that Labonno is spending a very busy time in presenting.
