Yarn, fabric and denim expo kick off

Two expos, titled “19th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2023-Winter Edition” and “5th Dhaka International Denim Show 2023” began concurrently at the ICCB of the capital on Wednesday.
CEMS Global USA organized the four-day event in collaboration with CCPIT-Sub Council of the Textile Industry (CCPIT-TEX).
Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi inaugurated the event as the chief guest.
He said that the current government is working tirelessly for rapid expansion in the fields of commerce and Industry under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The current administration is continuing to work hard to expand the apparel industry as one of the main economic sectors in order to achieve its goal of having a developed economy by 2041,” he added.
He also said that the show will attract both domestic and foreign direct investment, accelerate industrialization, broaden product diversity, increase export revenues, and, most importantly, provide opportunities to earn foreign currency.
