Foundation of Satkania-Lohagara friendship bridge innagurated

 The foundation stone laiying of Satkania-Lohagara Friendship Bridge on Tongkavati Canal in Satkania has been inaugurated.
Professor Dr. Abu Reza Md. Nezamuddin Nadvi, Chittagong-15 Constituency Member of Parliament MP inaugurated the laying of the foundation stone of the bridge yesterday afternoon. Central Awami League Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Aminul Islam Amin was present as Chief Guest at the opening ceremony in Bardonabahdirpara area of Satkania upazila.
South District Awami League vice-president Mohammad Idris presided over it and Satkania Upazila Awami League General Secretary Qutub Uddin Chowdhury, Lohagara Upazila Awami League President Khorshed Alam Chowdhury, Salah Uddin Hiru General Secretary, Satkania Upazila Awami League Organizing Secretary Mohammad Shahjahan, Upazila Engineer Parvez spoke. Sarwar, Union Awami League former president Master Farokh Ahmad and others.
 The speakers said that as a result of this new bridge, the distance between Satkania and Lohagara will be reduced and time will be saved twice. A unique communication channel will be created between Satkaniya Sadar and Amirabad Union of Lohagara.
 The local government and engineering department are implementing the construction work of the 66 meter long two-lane bridge at a cost of 6 crore Tk 45. 38 820.
