Members of England Cricket team in Dhaka

The Members of England Cricket team reached the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Friday. The world champions England Cricket team arrived in the capital to play three-match One Day International (ODI) series and three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against hosts Bangladesh. The three-match ODI series is the part of ICC World ODI Super League. The members of England Cricket team will take part in their practice session today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur and the BCB-NCA Ground, which is adjacent to SBNCS.
The England Lions will not play any warm-up match against the Tigers. Earlier, two warm-up matches between England and Bangladesh were scheduled to be held in the host country. But later, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) were agreed that Bangladesh and England will not play any warm-up match.
Chief Executive Officer of the BCB Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan said, ” We have planned to arrange warm-up matches between Bangladesh and England. But England team are interested to play only the international matches.”
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on February 16 the 14-member ODI squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England. The BCB has not yet announced the T20I squad for three-match T20I series against the Lions.
On the other hand, the ECB announced the ODI squad and also T20I squad for Bangladesh series.
Bangladesh will take on England in the first ODI at the SBNCS on March 1, face England in the second ODI at the SBNCS on March 3, meet England in the third ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chattogram on March 6.
After ending the ODI series, Bangladesh will take on England in the first T20I at the ZACS on March 9, the Tigers will face the Lions in the second T20I at the SBNCS on March 12, Bangladesh will meet England in the third T20I at the SBNCS on March 14. Bangladesh ODI squad :Tamim Iqbal (Captain), Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Litton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Afif Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Taijul Islam and Towhid Hridoy.
England ODI squad: Jos Buttler (Captain), Tom Abell, Rehan Ahmed, Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Sam Curran, Saqib Mahmood, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Phil Salt, Reece Topley, James Vince, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood.
