Quarter finals of ‘Dariabadha’ held at Kapasia

The third quarter final of the traditional Dariabadha tournament of village Bengal was held at the initiative of ‘Chalema Saeed Old Age Home’ and local residents of Barun village of Kapasia Upazila Sadar of Gazipur. Abi Abdullah, Deputy Director of Land Records and Survey Directorate and President of Srijni Mukt Scouts Group, was officially present as the Chief Guest of the late Solaiman Moral Memorial Dariyabadha Tournament in the presence of thousands of visitors on Saturday afternoon in the old age home grounds.
 Retired Senior Warrant Officer Md. Borhan Uddin Kaviraj inaugurated the Dariabadha competition under the chairmanship of Shambhunath Banik, Headmaster of Darchit Adarsh High School. Eminent social worker Md. Ismail Hossain, Scouter Enamul Kabir Master, Chief Assistant of Gazipur Tax Zone Md. Qayyum Darjee, prominent Awami League leader Md. Kumur Uddin Khan, President of Barzona Samajkalyan Sangh Md. Aminul Islam Darjee, former president of Kapasia Press Club journalist FM Kamal Hossain were present as distinguished guests. Hossain, sports teacher Ramkrishna Chandra Das, Md. Nashir Uddin Moral etc. Hassan Imam Palawan’s Dhara Commentary, the audience enjoyed the lost Dariyabadha game to the fullest.
