Ex UP Chairman shot dead in Sirajganj

A former Union Parishad chairman was shot to death by unidentified killers at Deshigram union of Tarash upazila in Sirajganj on Saturday night (February 18).
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Kuddus Sarkar, 58.
Police and local sources said the victim was taking tea in his business farm around 7:30pm.
Meanwhile, an unidentified person opened fire aiming at him, leaving him dead on the spot.
Confirming the matter, Tarash police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahidul Islam said details will be disclosed later.
