Jeddha consulate to extend services among BD workers in KSA

Jeddha consulate is going to extend services among Bangladeshi workers in Jizan region in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sources said several thousands of Bangladeshi migrant workers are living in the region where was no consulate office to serve them in case of emergency needs of passport reissuing and such other services.
The migrant Bangladeshi workers had only option to run to Jeddah for getting emergency consulate services hampering their work, money and wages.
In such, many of those suffered much in many ways including job related reasons in their workplaces.
In these circumstances, the migrant workers repeatedly requested to extend the Jeddah office services to the region for the sake of surviving their jobs.
In this wake of view, the Bangladesh consulate in Jeddah decided to render emergency services to Jizan.
As per a press release of the consulate, they decided to give pass port renewal, out-pass and such other services from Friday morning 8:00am to evening 6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm.
The migrant workers could call to the consulate office about getting information over passport and other issues from Thursday to Sunday from 8:00am to 10:00pm.
The expatriates Bangladeshis could get passport re-issuing, passport delivering, travel permits, attachments, membership registration on Probashi Kallayan Board and legal services from the consular’s tours in the region.
Representative of Sonali bank also to give banking services among the Diasporas.
Jazan, also spelled Jizan, Gizan or Gazan, is a port city and the capital of Jizan Region, which lies in the southwest corner of Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Expatriates’ Digital Center (EDC) under Prime Minister’s office’s started work to give services among the Bangladeshi Diaspora’s in Madinah and Jeddah.
