Get together of corporate legal practitioner held in city

The corporate legal practitioners arranged a get together at Crown Hall, Asia Hotel & Resorts, Purana Paltan, in the capital on Monday, focusing on the development of corporate practice and skill.
The programme started with recitation of verses from holy Quran by Md. Mujahid Hossain.
Besides, the holy Gita was recited by advocate Bibek Chandra.
Thereafter, legal practitioners prayed to Almighty for the peace of the departed soul of the corporate pioneer senior advocate Barrister Rafiqul Huq and all other deceased advocates and law officers.
Advocate Mukunda Chandra Debnath, advocate Kazi Nazibullah Hiru(Ex-President and Secretary Dhaka Lawyers Bar, Secretary Legal Affairs, Bangladesh Awami League), advocate Shah Manjurul Haque (Corporate Icon), advocate Abdun Nur Dulal (Secretary, Supreme Court, Bar), advocate Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kazol(Ex-Secretary, Supreme Court, Bar), advocate Barrister Shofiqul Kabir Khan Taposh, advocate Barrister Khan Mohammad Shameem Aziz, advocate Zakaria Haider, advocate Swaraj Chatterjee (Bappa), Barrister Md. Abul Kalam Azad were present, among others, on the occasion.
Heads of legal division, public and private banks, and law officers of various corporate houses were also present.
The programme ended with instructional discussions by the legal officers, head of legal divisions of various government, private commercial banks, corporate institutions and lawyers from various corporate chambers, including legal discussions on how to recover thousands of crores of government unpaid dues by filing lawsuits, through Artha Rin Adalat Ain-2003 and other easier ways.
The get together was also witnessed a mind-blowing cultural programme presented by advocate Seikh Golam Maksud and advocate Badal Bepari.
