Remove posters, wall writings from Dhaka’s flyovers in 2 weeks: HC

The High Court Division of the Supreme Court yesterday directed the Dhaka city Corporations to remove writings and posters from all flyovers in the capital within two weeks.
At the same time, the apex court asked the authorities concerned to form a monitoring committee in this regard.
The High Court Bench of Justice Farah Mahbub and Justice Ahmed Sohel passed the order after hearing a writ petition filed in public interest on Monday. Advocate Monjil Morsed moved for the writ petition.
Earlier on Thursday (February 2), Advocate Monjil Morsed filed the writ petition in the High Court Bench on behalf of Human Rights and Peace for Bangladesh (HRPB), a human rights organisation.
