SSC examinee electrocuted in Kapasia

An SSC candidate died due to electrocution in Gazipur’s Kapasia. His name is Abdullah Hossain Suhin (15). Suhin is the only child of Malaysian expatriate Abdus Chalam. He is a 2023 SSC candidate of humanities department. The electrocution incident took place at Barun Munsi house in Sadar Union of the upazila on Thursday morning.
According to the family of the deceased and the police station sources, on Wednesday night, Suhin connected the electricity to the electric irrigation pump for fishing in his danga at the Munsibari Bill, and the electricity suddenly went off at around 4 o’clock during the danga irrigation. Abdullah Suhin was electrocuted while reconnecting the electricity.
At that time, the classmates rescued Suhin while injured and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctors declared him dead.
 In this regard, Kapasia police station sub-inspector Abdul Alim said that as there was no complaint from the family, the dead body was handed over to the family without an autopsy and a case of wrongful death was registered.
