Tamanna Prome in playback for first time, busy with stage shows
Sheikh Arif Bulbon :
Tamanna Prome is one of the popular singers
of present generation. This is the first time she has rendered a song in a movie after several years in the music industry. In other words, she has
lent her voice for the playback for the first time.
Prome rendered playback song for the movie ‘Bhalobasar Projapoti’ (title may change later), directed by Raju Alim and Masuma Tani. Poppy and Shipon Mitra played the two lead roles in the movie. Raju Alim wrote lyrics of the song while Sherakontho 2017 famed singer Mac Apple has
composed music of the song. Prome has already lent her voice for the playback track. She is very excited and happy to sing the song in the first movie of her life. While sharing her feelings in this regard, Tamanna Prome told this correspondent, “Singing on playback for the first time was undoubtedly a great thrill, excitement and joy for me. Because every artist dreams of singing modern songs, performing in stage shows as well as playback in movies. From that point of view, it can be said that one of my dreams about music has come true. It is absolutely true that many things can be learned through playback; especially where to sing the song, how to throw – all that can be learned.
So, this is a playback that I have learned a lot.”
Prome informed that this is a duet song.
Meanwhile, Prome celebrated the beginning of the New Year on January 31 in London, UK. She returned to the country last 12 January. Back home, her stage show journey began in the New Year
with a performance at Cox’s Bazar stage show.
In the meantime, she again rendered songs
in stage shows in Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Dhaka, Gazipur, Bikrampur of Munshiganj and Khulna. Today she will perform music in Manikganj and next February 4 again in Sylhet, said the singer. Tamanna Prome also said that she has already
completed four more original songs and two cover songs. The songs are composed and rearranged by Shaan and Rizwan Sheikh. She was taught singing song during childhood by her mother Sayeda Sadia Begum Lipi. After that she learned sargam from Lucky of Chhayanaut. She completed an eight-year course in Nazrul Sangeet at Shishu Academy near Ripon and later at Chhayanaut.
