Field Day of Binasrisha held

The Field Day for the short life time high yielding and new variety of mustard “Binasrisha-11” was held in Bangladesh Paramanu Agricultural Research Institute (BINA)on Sunday.
Director (Research) of Bina was the chief guest at the event organized by the Department of Agriculture Extension in Srirampur village of Sadar Upazila.
Md. Abdul Malek, training officer of Agriculture Extension Department Dr. Md. Enamul Haque, District Seed Certification Officer Md. Khorshed Alam, Bina Rangpur Acting Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Ali were the special guests.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila Agriculture Officer Tanya Akhter, Bina scientific officer Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Md. Motalebur Rahman, farmer Md. Mashiyar Rahmar Mithu and others spoke.
The field day informed that farmers will get good yield by cultivating the newly invented short life high yielding mustard variety “Binasrisha-11”.
In 8 districts of Rangpur Division, 32,000 kg of seed assistance has been given to 2,000 farmers.
“Farmers are getting good yield by cultivating Binasrisha-11,” said Rangpur Bina Acting Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Ali.
