The 27th edition of the Dhaka International Trade Fair-2023 on Friday drew a huge crowd at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre at Purbachal in the capital Dhaka since the fair began on January 1.
Friday is the 20th day of the Dhaka International Trade Fair, which started at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC) located in the eastern part of the capital. Visitors started coming from different parts of the capital since morning.
As the day progressed, the queues at the ticket counters began to increase. In the afternoon, visitors flocked from all over the fair.
The fair saw a crowd of people of all ages and classes. Most of them were female visitors. Most come with family
members. Not only residents of the capital, but also buyers and visitors from different districts have come.
The sale of products was seen higher than the previous days due to the large number of people in the fair during the weekend. Most of the shoppers exiting the gates of the fair were carrying bags full of goods. Someone bought household goods. Others buy various packaged food products. Children’s bags have been seen full of toys.
The month-long fair that started on January 1 will end on January 31. This time entry fees has been fixed at Tk 40 for adults and Tk 20 for children. Tickets for the fair are also available online. Tickets can be purchased at 50 percent discount through bKash.
