2 more arrested along with copper coils from Rampal power plant

Two more thieves were arrested from Bangladsh-India Friendship coal based power plant under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat District in Monday morning by the members of Ansar of Rampal camp under Khulna Ansar Battalion-3 on the charge of stealing copper coils, according to a report received here.
 It is stated that in Monday morning while the members of the Ansar Battalion were discharging their normal duties around power plant they found, 2 persons were loitering on the western side of the fire station, situated in the power plant, in suspicious movement and arrested them (thieves).
After searching their bodies Ansars recovered equipments for cutting copper coil and 6 kg copper coils. It is mentionable here that at the night of last Thursday (Jan.12) members of Ansar Battalion arrested two thieves along with more than 5 kg copper coils and a motor bike.
The arrested thieves are Md. Ifazul Islam (18), son of one late Abdur Raahman of village Banaswardee in Gopalganj district and Md. Abu Hanif (18), son of one Nayeb Ali Mondol of Parara area under Kusthia district.
