Body of young man recovered

The floating body of a young man was recovered by police of Shahzadpur Police Station from the Karatoya river near Mohammadpur village of Beloil union of Shahzadpur upazila of Sirajganj. The police recovered his body from the Karatoya river recently.
The deceased was Shariful Islam (30), son of late Abu Sama of Agnukali village. It is known that Shariful Islam went to his father-in-law’s house in Char-Betkandi last Monday (January 9) night. Shariful’s father-in-law Fakrul said that there was an argument with Shariful’s wife Farzana Khatun. Since then Shariful has been missing.
Locals found Shariful’s blood-stained clothes after 4 days of disappearance. Then on the next morning, the local residents informed the police after seeing Shariful’s dead body in the Karatoa River.
Later Shahzadpur police station visited the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the police station. Surya Banu, the mother of the deceased Shariful, said that Farzana got married to Shariful a month and a half ago. Farzana did not like Shariful since marriage. Although Shariful loved his wife very much, Farzana could not tolerate Shariful. At one point, when Farzana went to her father’s house, Shariful went to his wife there. Shariful went missing there.
