Ferdous, Ziaul Roshan to star opposite Sreelekha Mitra in movie ‘Mir Jafar Chapter 2’

Popular Tollywood actress Sreelekha Mitra is now in Dhaka to attend the Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF), which kicked off last Saturday.
In a media interaction at the festival, Sreelekha Mitra said that she has joined the cast of the movie titled ‘Mir Jafar Chapter 2’ opposite Dhallywood’s
popular actor Ferdous Ahmed and promising actor Ziaul Roshan. The movie is directed by Arkadeep Mallika Nath. While talking with the media, Sreelekha Mitra said, “I don’t know the details of the movie ‘Mir Jafar Chapter 2.’ I just know that shooting of the
movie will start in February.”
In the movie, Ferdous will be seen in the role of an influential person in the Indo-Bangladesh border area, while Ziaul Roshan will be playing the character of Jafar. Tollywood’s popular actress Srabanti Chatterjee will be portraying the role of a refugee, who has
escaped from Bangladesh.
The movie also casts Subrat Dutta, Sohini Sengupta, Bulbuli Panja and
Joy Sarkar in pivotal roles.
Sreelekha Mitra’s directorial movie ‘Ebong Chaad’ was screened at the
festival on Monday. After the
screening, Sreelekha interacted with the Bangladeshi media and audience
and also replied their queries
during the festival.
The DIFF will run till January 22 with movies being screened at Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Auditorium (main auditorium) and Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), Star Cineplex (Bashundhara City) and Alliance Francaise de Dhaka (in Dhanmondi).
