BCG seizes 210,000 Yaba pills from Naf River

Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) seized 210,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Naf River during an operation in Teknaf on Monday.
Coast Guard at Headquarters’ Media Officer Lt. Commander Abdur Rahman gave this information to the media.
He said BCG members of Teknaf station had chased a boat after it had entered Bangladesh water boundary from Myanmar at Sabrang Noyapara point area at night around 2.15.
The BCG signaled the boat to stop but the people fled towards Mayanmar’s water territory with the boat after throwing two yellow colour sacks into the river.
Then the BCG members found the two sacks from the deep of the river water and found 210,000 Yaba pieces there.
The BCG handed over the Yabas to Teknaf Model Police Station for taking farther legal actions.
