Housewife’s throat slit body recovered in capital

Police recovered the mutilated body of a housewife from her residence at Mirpur in the capital on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Maya Akter, wife of one expatriate named Khokon Miah. They have a six-year-old daughter.
The police recovered the body of the woman from the house number 36 of road number 3 of Rupnagar ‘T’ block on Saturday late night.
Pallobi Zone AC Abdul Halim said, the deceased has injury marks on her neck. We are on the spot. Details will be given later.
Mohammad Dulal Hossain, Inspector (investigation) of Rupnagar Police Station, confirmed the matter to The New Nation and said that our efforts are on to arrest the killer.
