Four smugglers held with huge banded goods in Kishoreganj

The members of RAB-14 have arrested at least four smuggler including a UP member along with huge smuggling goods worth Tk. 1.25 Crores from Balikhala ghat in Suttarpara haor union under Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj on Thursday night.
The smugglers named Md. Kutubuddin (40), a UP member of Suttarpara haor Union, Maksud (25), Akhter Hossain (34) and Siddique (35)
The bended goods include 2,968 pieces of Indian sarees, 399 pieces of lehengas, large quantities of Dabur Amla hair oil, Himalaya facewash and Boroline antiseptic cream from UP member Kutubuddin ‘s Departmental shop.
On Friday, RAB -14 , Kishoreganj Camp Commonder & Deputy Director (DD) Major Md Shaharia Mahamud through a press briefing at Kishoreganj ‘s RAB Camp.

The gang has been illegally importing various products including Indian sarees, lehengas, oil, facials and medicines from India through the Sunamganj border route. Later, using Kishoreganj sea route as safe, it is sending to different parts of the country.
