BFF extends one year contract with Cabrera

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has extended the contract with Head Coach Javier Cabrera for one year. So, the Spanish-born Head Coach will be coached Bangladesh National Football team for more one year. Chairman of National Team Management Committee of the BFF Kazi Nabil Ahmed confirmed this matter on Wednesday. Cabrera will also act as a Coach of Bangladesh Under-23 Football team and other age group teams of Bangladesh.
Last year in January, Javier Cabrera took the charge to coach Jamal Bhuiyan & Co.. After that Bangladesh National Football team played eight International matches. Of them, Bangladesh won only one match, while tasted defeats in five matches and drew two matches. After a poor performance, Javier Cabrera said to a local daily newspaper he wants to get another chance. So, the BFF has considered his matter and then BFF has extended his contract for more one year.
After getting the good news, Cabrera said, ” I am very happy. I want to work with the Bangladesh team. Thanks to BFF. To improve performance it will take time. My boys are improving. If we keep patience, we will get a good result.”
