Police finish 3rd in Men’s Handball

Bangladesh Police Handball Club finished third position in the EXIM Bank 33rd National Men’s Handball competition beating Dhaka District Sports Association by 32-29 goals in the place-deciding match was held on Sunday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city. The winners, however, trailed the first half by 13-15 goals. Munshi Abdur Rouf was the highest scorer with nine goals for Bangladesh Police Handball Club. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP will take on Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in final match of the competition scheduled to be held tomorrow at the same venue at 3.00pm.
