Ansar, BGB reach Men’s Handball’s final

Bangladesh Ansar and VDP and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) reached final of the EXIM Bank 33rd National Men’s Handball competition eliminating their respective rivals in the semifinals was held on Saturday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.
The final between the two teams will be held on Tuesday (Jan 10) at the same venue at 3 pm, following the place-deciding match between Bangladesh Police Handball Club and Dhaka district to be held today at the same venue at 3 pm.
On way to the final, Bangladesh Ansar beat Bangladesh Police Handball Club by 34-27 goals after leading the first half by 21-12 goals in the first semifinal while Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) defeated Dhaka District Sports Association by 41-15 goals after dominating the first half by 21-10 goals.
