A discussion on ‘Role of politicians in protecting environment’ organised by Natun Dhara Bangladesh (NDB) was held on Wednesday at its office in the city’s Topkhana Road. Chairman of the organisation Momin Mehedi presided over the programme. In the discussion the speakers said that the ruling party government and BNP doing politics only for power. The speakers urged the politicians to do politics for the brilliant future of the countrymen. The discussion was addressed, among others, by NDB Senior Vice-Chairman Shanta Farzana, Acting Secretary General Sheikh Habib Khokon, Presidium member Manik Charavarty, Prof Suvankar Devnath and freedom fighter Abdul Mannan Azad.
