Old man killed in Amtali road accident

An old man named Raju Howladar (60) was killed by a bus at Sikdar Bari area on Amtali-Patuakhali road in Barguna on Monday .
Deceased Raju Howlader is the son of deceased Solaiman Howlader of North Ghatkhali village of Chawra Union. The victim while crossing road after Fajr prayer at a mosque in Sikdar Bari Stand.
At that time, a speeding bus coming from Patuakhali direction hitting him made seriously injured. Pedestrians rescuing him took to Amtali Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him as dead.
Amtali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM Mizanur Rahman said that a case has been registered at the police station and the body has been handed over to the relatives on their request.
