Nurul Hasan to lead Rangpur Riders in BPL Cricket

Wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan will lead Rangpur Riders in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket. BPL Cricket will start on January 6. Earlier, Nurul Hasan led Bangladesh Cricket team.
Rangpur Riders emerged champions in the BPL Cricket for one time. Veteran all-rounder Mashrafe Bin Mortaza led the Rangpur Riders in that time. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will lead Sylhet Strikers this year. Nurul Hasan has been playing in BPL Cricket since 2013. He took part in the BPL Cricket for seven teams. The teams are: Sylhet Super Stars, Rajshahi Kings, Chittagong Kings, Dhaka Dynamites, Sylhet Sixers, Chattogram Challengers, Fortune Barishal. He is going to play for Rangpur Riders for the first time. He will lead Rangpur Riders in his debut in the Ranggpur based out-fit.
Earlier, Nurul Hasan led Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in Dhaka Premier League Cricket. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club became champions under his captaincy.
Nurul Hasan played seven editions of BPL Cricket. He played 66 innings in 76 matches. He scored 821 runs with an average of 18.24. His strike rate is 117.45. His highest score is 43.
He had a record as a wicketkeeper in BPL. He had 75 dismissals, which is the highest in BPL Cricket. Mushfiqur Rahim took the second place with 56 dismissals.
