FIs offer affordable home loan to attract visitors at REHAB Fair

Thirteen Financial Institutions (FIs) are competing with one another to lure prospective home loan borrowers at the country’s largest event in the housing sector REHAB Fair 2022 at the Bangabandhu Interna-tional Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka.
To attract prospective customers, FIs are offering facilities like loan amount up to Tk 2.0 crore , no process fee for loan takeover ,considerable grace period, phase -wise disbursement facility , and fast processing.Some FIs are offering home loan at a 7.5% interest rate with up to 12 months grace priod.
Customers, including middle and lower-middle income people, who dream to live on their own can choose the convenient offers from those Financial Institutions.As participating Financial Institutions (FIs) are focusing more on financial inclusion program through Rural Home Loan and Semi-Pucca houses and to give home loan seeker a proper idea about the loan products and services in a completely new and comprehensive way.
BRAC Bank provides affordable home loans at only a 7.5% interest rate at the fair. With Affordable Home Loan facility, the lower and middle-income groups can avail of Home Loan for semi-pucca house construction, building construction and flat purchase. REHAB Fair saw commitments for Tk 1,500 crore bank loans in 2021.
Meanwhile, the five-day long Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) Fair 2022 began on 21 December. The fair will remain open from 10:00am to 9:00pm for visitors till 25 December.
