Young man killed in Sylhet road accident

A youth was killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Companyganj Upazila in the Sylhet district. The accident took place on Bangabandhu highway in Tukerbazar area of Companyganj upazila recently.
The name of the deceased youth is Muhibur Rahman Rubel (31). He is the son of late Jamal Uddin of Puran Baluchar village of the upazila.
SI Shah Alam of Companyganj police station confirmed the news and said, Muhibur Rahman Rubel was going from Tukerbazar to Dayarbazar with two passengers on his rented motorcycle at 4 pm on Sunday. On the way, his motorcycle collided head-on with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. 6 people were injured in both the motorcycles.
Locals rescued the injured and admitted them to Upazila Health Complex.
Later, as the condition of three injured including Rubel was critical, they were sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital. Muhibur Rahman Rubel died there at 9 pm while undergoing treatment.
