Policing Forum Conference held

The Community Policing Forum Conference was held at the Zilla Parishad Auditorium of Sylhet on Tuesday under the “Police Engagement Approach for Countering Extremism (Peace)” project implemented by the development organization Institute of Development Affairs (IDEA) with financial and technical support from The Asia Foundation.
President of the Conference and Chief of Party of ‘The Asia Foundation’ Sadat Sadruddin Shibli welcomed the guests and announced the inauguration of the event by giving a welcome speech.
He also gave a basic idea about ‘The Asia Foundation’ and ‘Peace’ projects in front of the guests present.
Sylhet Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Nisharul Arif was present as the chief guest in the conference.
Sylhet Superintendent of Police Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Sylhet Metropolitan Police Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations), Md. Masud Rana, Sylhet Metropolitan Police Deputy Police Commissioner Kamrul Amin, President of Sylhet Metropolitan Community Policing Forum Nashim Ahmed were present as special guests and Sylhet District Community Policing Forum President Veer Muktijodha Masuk Uddin Ahmed.
