World Soil Day observed in Kishoreganj

Sr. Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj :

District Administration, Kishoreganj brought out a procession and held discussion meeting marking the World Soil Day in Monday.
ADC (General) & Deputy Secretary (DS) Md.Golam Mostafa attended the meeting as chief guest while Principal Scientific Officer Dr. Shahidul Islam in the chair.
It was addressed among others by, ADC (Development & Human resources) Kazi Mohua, as special guest, Senior Scientific Officer Aminul Islam, CAB district president and Senior Journalist Alam Sarowar Tito, and Senior Assistant Commissioner & Magistrate Babul Chandra Sutradhar.
ADC &:DS Md. Golam Mostafa said, the economy and culture of riverine Bangladesh are mainly centered on agriculture and it is soil. CAB president Alam Sarowar Tito said, the main reason for this is the fertile soul of the country and the tireless work of the farmers.
