4 people fined in Baraigram, Lalpur

4 people have been fined Tk 2 lakh 52 thousand under Consumer Rights Protection Act. in Baraigram and Lalpur of Natore district, This information is known from RAB sources on Wednesday.
RAB and locals said that in a joint operation by RAB, Natore camp captain Md Farhad Hossain and Natore National Consumer Rights Protection Directorate Md Mehdi Hasan Tanveer, the owner of Shrabni Ice Cream Factory in Lalpur Bazar, Md Korban Ali (65) was fined 1 lakh 90 thousand taka for the crime of producing fake Robo Drinks by forging trade marks and adulterated molasses owner Salim Uddin Pramanik (45), Abdul Mannan (45) and Atiyar Rahman (32) were fined 62 thosand taka for the crime of making adulterated molasses by mixing sugar, lime, alum, fabric color and soda in Atgharia and Bhavanipur villages of Baraigram upazila.
