Prisoner dies in Bagerhat jail hajat

A prisoner named Md. Selim Faraji (70) died in Bagerhat jail hajat on Saturday noon. At 12-30 pm the prisoner was attacked with severe breath problem. He was immediately rushed to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital where the physician on duty declared him dead. The deceased was the son of one late Kasem Faraji of village Harinkhana within Bagerhat Pourashava.
 The man was arrested by the police of Bagerhat Model PS on November 21 in connection with a theft case. Since then he had been living in Bagerhat jail hajat.
It was disclosed by SI S M Ashraful Alam, Coordinator of Bagerhat district Police Media Cell. The Police Coordinator added, late Selim Faraji was arrested in connection with a theft cased on November 21.
