Kishoreganj’s youth missing for 7 months in Saudi Arabia

A man named Anowar Hossain from Katiadi Upazila of Kishoreganj has gone missing for seven months after going to Saudi Arabia in search of a job.
The victim ‘s family complained that they did not get any solution after going to the government office for help in this incident. Moreover, as the police did not take the case, a case was filed through the court.
 Dipa Akhter, wife of Anowar Hossain , filed a case in the Kishoreganj Human Trafficking Prevention Tribunal on Sunday.
In the case, one Dulal, son of Mosleh Uddin from Shimuha Nehardia Kodaltia of Katiadi upazila, Ziaul Haque, chairman of ‘Seven Seas Corporation’ recruiting agency located in Banani, Dhaka and Asad, son of Sahabuddin from Panchalgota Maizhati of Pakundia upazila have been made accused.
The Special judge of the Tribunal Md. Sulaiman took cognizance of the case and ordered the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate.
According to the source of the case, Anwar Hossain went to Saudi Arabia through ‘Seven Seas Corporation’ recruiting agency in Banani, Dhaka. A local broker named Dulal mediated with that agency.
Anwar’s wife Dipa Akhter said, ‘My mother-in-law Banesha Khatun applied to the Secretary of the Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Ministry on September 19 to find my husband. But the petition did not get any remedy.’
