Digital innovation fair begins in Netrakona

A two-day long ‘Digital Innovation Fair-2022’ has began at local Muktarpara ground here today showcasing diversified forms of digital innovations in different sectors.
The district administration in association with the Cabinet Division, ICT Division and A2I programme has arranged the fair with a view to inspiring the people to use information and communication technologies for building a smart Bangladesh.
State Minister for Social Welfare and renowned freedom fighter Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru formally inaugurated the fair as chief guest while Deputy Commissioner (DC) Netrakona Anjana Khan Majlish was in the chair. The inaugural function was addressed, among others, by Habiba Rahman Khan Shefali MP, Chairman of Netrakona Zila Parishad Asit Kumar Sarker Sajal, Police Super Foyaz Ahmed, Panel Mayor of Netrakona Municipality SM Mohasin Alam and President of district Mohila Awami League and prominent social worker Kamrunnesa Ashraf Dina.
Inaugurating the fair, State Minister Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru said, the government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been putting it’s best and sincere efforts for reaching all services at the door-steps of the people properly without any problem through digitization in every sectors.
“Following the digitization programs of the government, the people both in urban and rural areas are now getting digital services including e-governance, e-education, e-health, e-agriculture and other e-services at their door-steps in a hassle-free manner” he said.
