Fire service station inaugurated at Lohagara

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan MP said that Lohagara Fire Service Station will play an important role in preventing accidents and safety of people’s lives. Not only at the upazila level under the direction of the Prime Minister; Fire stations have been constructed in important places including all industrial areas of the country. In continuation of that, the 492nd fire station of the country has been established at the cost of Tk 3 crore 17 lakh 8 thousand in Chittagong’s Lohagara.
He said these things in a press briefing after the inauguration of Lohagara Fire Service and Civil Defense Station in Chunti of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon.
Also present were Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi MP, Home Ministry Security Services Department Secretary Md. Abdullah Al Masud Chowdhury, Director General of Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate Brigadier General Md. Main Uddin, Project Director Ataur Rahman Khan, Chittagong District Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman, Chittagong. District Police Superintendent SM Shafiullah BPM, Deputy Director Anisur Rahman, Fire Service and Assistant Director Muhammad Abdullah, Lohagara Upazila Awami League President Khorshed Alam Chowdhury and General Secretary Salah Uddin Hiru etc.
