Expressing deep anger, he said, “My son could not take cigarette, even he could not tolerate cigarette’s vapor. But it is regretful that is said about him that he used to consume pheynsidyl. This is not believable at all.”
The BUET students also demanded that Fardin could not take drug even not habit to smoke cigarette. Students said, “It is not credible to those who are familiar with Fardin about his connection with drug addiction.”
Regarding getting the last signal of his phone at the drug dealing place, students claimed that the phone could have been taken to another place. Someone else could have taken it after he was killed.
“After my son went missing, we filed General Dairy (GD) at the police station. After that we did not know any progress in the investigation till the body is recovered. Police did not tell us what happened. We are not satisfied with the investigation in view of GD,” Fardin father said.

The students also expressed hope in the law enforcement investigation. They said, ”We believe that law enforcement agencies will continue to investigate with utmost importance and identify the real culprits and bring them to justice as soon as possible.”
